CareTrade is a forward thinking and innovative Charity. Our ambition is to transform the lives of school leavers and young adults with autism by creating innovative and inspirational work experience and apprenticeships to increase employment opportunities.
You will be based at our offices near Elephant & Castle and within Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Trust supporting students on The Autism Project. The focus is to support and find work placements within the hospital and to build skills to assist the students to become work ready and as appropriate to find paid employment.
The Autism Project is designed to help young people with autism (mostly aged 18-25) with or without additional learning difficulties to become work ready by learning in real work environments supported by mentors (from GSTT), our job coach, tutors and TAP Coordinator .Students spend 4 days a week in work placements and one day in class.
The role will include supporting students and their mentors in their work placements and in class and to assist with training for employers more widely. As a small team there is cross over between projects and you may also be required to assist students on other projects when needed,

This is a permanent post subject to a 6 month probationary period. The salary is £25,000 per annum inclusive of Inner London Weighting, plus pension contribution. The job will start early September 2016.
